Im Jahr 1988 wurde unsere Praxis für Physiotherapie Wachsmuth von Karin Wachsmuth gegründet.
Seit 2017 ist die Tochter Karina Wachsmuth-Brehm die Inhaberin und leitet seit jeher den Familienbetrieb mit dem Standort in Rosbach.
Mittels regulärer Teilnahme an Fort- und Weiterbildungen, gelingt es uns individuell auf die Bedürfnisse der Patienten einzugehen.

Die Propriozeptive Neuromuskuläre Fazilitation ist ein neurologisches, dreidimensionales Behandlungskonzept. Durch spezielle Übungen (Bewegungsmuster) werden natürliche, physiologische Bewegungen angebahnt dir z.B. durch eine Operation oder eine Erkrankung gestört seien können. Die PNF nutzt die verschiedenen Sensoren des menschlichen Körpers (Exterozeptoren= Sensoren der Reizverarbeitung, Telerezeptoren= Augen & Ohren und Propriozeptoren= Muskel-, Sehnen-, Gelenkrezeptoren) zur Förderung des Zusammenspiels zwischen Nerven und Muskeln.

Die manuelle Lymphdrainage ist ein wichtiger Bestandteil der komplexen physikalischen Entstauungstherapie (KPE). Bei der klassischen Massagetherapie werden gezielte Grifftechniken angewandt, um verspannte Muskulatur zu aktivieren und zu lockern. Hierbei ergeben sich viele positive Reize auf den gesamten Körper, wie z.B. die Durchblutung wird gefördert, Spannungen werden reduziert, Muskulatur stimuliert und Myogelosen gelöst. Es gibt viele verschiedene Arten der Massage, hierzu gehören ebenso die Bindegewebsmassage, Sportmassage, Therapie nach Dorn, Fußreflexzonenmassage, die Therapie nach dem Fasziendistorsionsmodell (FDM) uvm.
